 Pay:  $308 Flat Rate per Day - Weekend Pay

Pay:  $25 Additional Back Haul Rate

A. Duie Pyle currently has an opening for a CDLA - Dedicated Shuttle Driver in our York, PA or Newark, NJ location!

York, PA Start Time: 2:00 AM  -  Thursday through Monday; average 8 hour work day!

Newark, NJ Start Time:  11:00 PM  -  Thursday through Monday; average 8 hour work day!

Position Overview

  • Days off - Tuesday & Wednesday
  • 1 to 2 stops per driver per day
  • 300 Miles per driver per day
  • Average 8 hour workday
  • Average work day:  8-10 hours
  • Drop and Hook; live load; live unload of trailers
  • Cross dock deliveries along with pickups from shipper locations (back hauls)
  • No touch

Job Requirements

  • Class A CDL (No Hazmat needed)
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • One (1) year of recent verified CDL-A experience, van type trailer experience preferred.  Drivers with less experience may be considered for this position but may require an extended road test to verify abilities.
  • No license suspensions (excluding non-moving violations) in the last 3 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No unexplained gaps in employment
  • Ability to comply and adhere to FMC safety regulations
  • Complete Pre-Trip and Post-Trips
  • Communicate with dispatch via in-cab electronic device
  • Read Bill of Lading to determine assignments
