A. Duie Pyle currently has an opening for a Local Dedicated Delivery Driver in Fairless Hills, PA!

    Start Times:  7:00 AM -  9:00 AM - Monday through Friday, Some Saturdays Nov/Dec

 

Position Overview

  • Home daily
  • Average number of Stops per day: 4
  • 2 Routes per weekday daily.  Routes are typically 2 stops, 1/2 for one store and 1/2 for another.
  • Dock Deliveries/LFTD, Pallet Jack to the tail of the trailer or lift gate deliveries w/ Pallet Jack to the ground using lift gate.
  • Return back with recyclables

Job Requirements

Do you have what it takes?

  • Class A CDL (some accounts require Hazmat endorsement)
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • One (1) year of recent verified CDL-A experience, van type trailer experience preferred.  Drivers with less experience may be considered for this position but may require an extended road test to verify abilities.
  • No license suspensions (excluding non-moving violations) in the last 3 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No unexplained gaps in employment
  • Ability to comply and adhere to FMC safety regulations
  • Ability to drive propane powered forklift or battery operated pallet jack to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products to and from trailers and straight trucks
  • Complete Pre-Trip and Post-Trips
  • Communicate with dispatch via in-cab electronic device
  • Read Bill of Lading to determine assignments
